Family Law & Divorce

Family Law

We are passionate about what we do and the clients we work with.  We are singularly focused on representing your interests throughout your family law matter vigorously and passionately.  When you are focused on your family, we are focused on your legal rights.

Family law is an all encompassing subject matter that covers divorce, child custody, property division, child and spousal support, restraining orders, paternity, and modification of pre-existing orders (i.e. support, custody, visitation, etc.).

Divorce

If you are considering a divorce, or have been served with a petition for dissolution, we are here to assist you throughout every stage of your case, or at key times, as you would prefer.

California is a no-fault divorce state, which means that either spouse can file for and obtain a divorce regardless of the reason.  The process of divorce can be long, stressful and overwhelming. Depending on your family's particular circumstances, you may have to divide property, determine who will have primary custody of children, when the other parent can visit with the children, who will pay child and or spousal support, and how you will divide the family's debts.

We will help guide you through the multitude of issues and questions you will face throughout this journey.  With clear, thoughtful counsel to make informed decisions, we will help you achieve your goals throughout your divorce.

Child Support

In California every parent has a duty and an obligation to provide for their children.  Whether you are seeking support or responsible for paying support, we will work closely with you to determine the accurate amount you are entitled to receive or pay.

Child Visitation

Regardless of the relationship between parents, it is important and critical for the child/parent relationship continue in a manner that is in the best interest of the child(ren).  If you are having difficulty arriving at an amicable child custody/visitation arrangement, are estranged, or struggling with a difficult co-parent, we can help you identify your legal options and work to implement them to achieve the best interest of your child(ren).

We are here to serve your needs and minimize the stress of not having representation. Contact us in order that we may begin to counsel and guide you throughout the legal process.  For a consultation call us at (619) 849 – 8849.
